Indulge your Passion for Good Food at Beckett’s Farm

Beckett’s Farm in Wythall is a working farm of over 1000 acres that has been farmed by the Beckett family for three generations. Over the years the farm has diversified and grown to offer a grand variety of facilities that celebrate the very best of local produce. The Farm Shop offers the freshest in local goods and its neighbouring restaurant serves up the very finest homemade meals using quality produce.

The Orange Kitchen Cookery School at Beckett’s Farm opened in 2008 as a result of the farm’s passion for good, honest food. They now offer a wide range of cookery courses for all ages and ability levels aimed to encourage people to get back into healthy and wholesome home cooking. Whether you are an experienced cook, or a complete beginner, the cookery school can help you to hone your skills under the guidance of expert chefs. Children’s classes are also very popular and are a great way to get your little one to appreciate the benefits of fresh food for life.

Adult cookery classes are held predominantly in the evenings and are often based around different cuisines such as, Italian, Thai and the Best of British. The courses aim to help students learn cookery skills that can be easily transferred to their home-life. As the classes are based around demonstration and practical learning, students can enjoy creating new dishes under the watchful eye of the friendly chefs. Students have shared workstations within the intimate class groups, where all equipment and ingredients are provided. The vibrant atmosphere and company of like-minded foodies is perfect for those wishing to embark on a new culinary journey.

The cookery school hosts a wide variety of bespoke cookery parties for adults and children and is also a popular venue for exciting corporate events and team building.
